How long have you been planning events?
I have 8 years of event planning experience and have produced festivals, food competitions, health & fitness events, fundraisers, and more. Over 10,000 people have attended my events.
I have been planning weddings in the Bay Area for the last 6 years and specialize in East Bay Weddings.
I completed a 2-year Event Planning program at Canada’s ITHQ, which is the only Canadian program recognized by Meeting Professional International.
What sets you apart from other wedding planners?
I am a Certified Event Planner and event planning is my full-time job. That means that I don’t have another day job to go to and I am available to you 5 days a week during business hours.
In addition to offering Wedding Planning Services I also offer Consulting Services to couples who want to undertake the majority of the planning themselves, or are on a tight budget.
I pride myself on always responding to emails within 2 business days.
My clients tell me that I have a very calming and friendly personality which makes them feel really comfortable. I handle pressure and stressful situations with a smile!
I am really passionate about my work and making my clients happy.
Do I really need to work with a wedding planner?
Planning a wedding is a full-time job and if you already have a full-time job it can be hard to manage. Working with a wedding planner can save you lots of time and money – so you can avoid time consuming and costly mistakes like spending money when you don’t need to or not hiring the right vendors.
My clients always tell me that they couldn’t have imagined going through the wedding planning process without my help, especially during the month leading up to it, which is when things start to get really busy and can become overwhelming without a planner.
If you’re on a budget, or want to do the majority of the planning yourself, check out my Consulting Packages.
Your wedding day should be memorable and you should be enjoying every minute of it instead of stressing out over the behind the scenes stuff, so having a wedding planner there is really instrumental.
What is your commitment to eco events?
I believe in doing good and giving back. I feel a responsibility towards others on our planet. I feel a strong sense of compassion and social responsibility to the stewardship we’ve been entrusted with–both to each other and with our limited resources.
That’s why I create sustainable events. Making choices that produce a green event may save a tree, lessen C02 emissions . . . and it all matters in the big picture.
Clients are constantly amazed when they realize it doesn’t cost more to go green holding a sustainable event.
I love the challenges, and the sudden bursts of creativity that explode from my mind as I plan an event. Coming up with new ways to do something fun, fresh, affordable, and sustainable is exciting. I also love building long-lasting relationships through it all.
I’m planning a wedding outside of the SF Bay Area, can I still work with you?
Yes I offer a number of Nationwide Consulting Services, check out my Consulting Services page
Do I need to work with your vendors?
I do not accept any commissions and do not have an exclusive vendor list. Of course I will always recommend vendors that I love and have worked with before recommending someone I don’t know, but if you already have a vendor I’m happy to work with them.
What is your payment policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for my Full, Partial, and Month-of Wedding Planning Packages to hold the date, the remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.
Full payment is required upfront for my Consulting Packages.
Do you offer a Day-Of Coordination?
I strongly believe that an entire month is needed to make the process go as smoothly as possible and for me to do the best job possible. Therefore, I offer a Month-Of and not a Day-Of package.
Do you provide design services?
Design work is a whole different ball game, I’m an event planner which means that my strengths are planning, logistics, and management. I am happy to refer you to an expert.
How many weddings do you take on?
In general, I only book one wedding per weekend.
